CAREER PLANNING

How to Get
the Best of This World:

One of the dua (supplication) given to us by Allah Himself is: "Our Lord! give us something fine in this world, and good in the Akhirah (the everlasting life in Hereafter) and shield us from the torment of the Fire! (Quran: 2:201)

Striving to achieve the best of both worlds means acquiring the necessary education, knowledge, and skills. This section is designed as a forum to help Muslims in learning how to get the best of this world.

Allah is Al Razzaq (the Provider) and has asked us to make our best effort in obtaining His rizq (provision), and to be content with what He has given us.

Ayah of the Day
Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allâh), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. [Al-Buruj 85 : 10]
Hadith of the Day
Narrated Ibn ‘Umar: The Prophet said, “If anyone seeks protection in Allah’s Name, grant him protection; if anyone begs in Allah’s Name, give him something; and if anyone does you a kindness, recompense him; but if you do not have the means to do so, pray for him.” (Al-Baihaqi reported it)
Quote of the Day
"One who remembers God and one who does not are like the living and the dead." Hadith
